The Powell River Forestry Museum Society (PRFMS) is a non-profit society dedicated to the education, preservation and public awareness of the colourful forest history of the Powell River area.
The Society also maintains the historic Willingdon Beach Trail and logging displays along the trail for the enjoyment of the public.
The history of the Society is located here. Sample minutes of Society meetings are located here. The Museum is open during the summer on a regular basis. (12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily beginning late June). Check for directions at the Powell River Visitors Bureau, 604-485-4701. From September to June we are open by appointment for groups or researchers with special interests. School and bus tours are welcome.
