On May 9, 2008 the Society moved the Pole Road Log Cart a short distance from it's former location on the cut-off trail to be closer to the main trail.

The cart has two sets of wheels connected be a twenty foot 10" x 10" beam. It was last used on a logging show above Chippewa Bay, where it towed logs over pole roads using a Steam Donkey.	Bob Miller in his front-end-loader first got the display's new Pole Logs in place. These replaced the old ones from the 1985 installation - (one of the trail's first artifacts)-	Wrestling the pole logs into place over the already-positioned 10x10 beam	second pole log going into place	Bob next dismantled the old display, first by removing the old logs it was carrying
